The project's intention was to create a desk adorned with decorations that lacked inherent meaning. However, throughout the ideation process, I faced challenges in generating decorations that were truly devoid of purpose. Every decoration I conceived
ended up carrying some form of meaning or functionality. Despite producing numerous design ideas, I found myself at a loss about the subsequent steps to take. In the end, I selected a design that didn't resonate with me, and I was uncertain about the reasons behind this choice. Perhaps inadvertently, this particular design could represent the desired desk with decorations devoid of meaning.
장식이 가득한 책상을 디자인 하고 싶었다. 그냥 아무 의미없는 장식으로 둘려싸인.. 그리고 스케치에서, 모델링에서, 단순한 종이 목업 모두에서 의미나 기능을 찾을 수 있었다. 결국에는 가장 싫었던 디자인 그리고 도대체 왜 이렇게 했을까 하며 지나간 디자인에서 아마도 아무 의미없는 장식으로 만들어진 책상을 보았다.
